Obituary of Christopher Ralph Stefan Braniff

Christopher Ralph Stefan “Chris” Braniff, 67, Loch Broom, passed away Friday, March 8, 2024, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.

Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Ralph Donald and Sue Ferguson (MacNeil) Braniff.  Chris was a Pipefitter and Welder. He was a member of UA Local 179.

Surviving are his wife, Velma Lambert; daughter, Tammi Braniff (Matt Ritchie), Ottawa, Ont.; sons, Tim (Jennifer) Braniff, Sylvester; Ryan Parsons (Presley), Loch Broom; grandchildren, Duncan and Dale Braniff; sisters, Monique Gouthro, Spring Hill; Michelle Johnson, Scotsburn; brother, Shane (Cynthia), Durham; several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, M. Scott “Moosie” Braniff; brother-in-law, James Albert Guthro.

In honour of Chris’ wishes his family will celebrate is life privately.  Interment will be in Abercrombie Cemetery.
